Laughing Out Loud

We spent one day and evening in Geneva during the "Fêtes de Genève," a huge, three week long festival on the lakefront. It was fantastic to capture the motion, the lights and the uninhibited joy of these people on the bumper cars. Can't you just feel the laughter? When was the last time you had this much fun?

  1. Sounds like so much fun! And I'm happy you were present in this experience. :) My last moment of fun was when I went out for a walk, and caught thunder in the rain which was yesterday and it was truly captivating to watch others enjoy the rain or not. Hope your having a wonderful weekend.

  2. Recently I was talking about bumper cars with my brother and nephews - about how we would be paralyzed by laughter when we got in them - what fun! I think the last time I laughed really hard was a couple of weeks ago when a friend I'd gone to the city with and I were really tired, our bags were cutting into our hands because we'd carried too much, we'd walked too far, we'd made some errors in direction, and were sitting on a park bench to decide what next to do when she remembered the comfortable shopping bags she'd brought with her, tucked in her backpack. After all our schlepping we could have been much more comfortable, even if we'd been still lost, if we'd been using them, instead of carrying them. We were laughing till we were crying.

  4. To be a kid again... but when do experience it as an adult, it is usually with kids. Being with my gks, whether on a trampoline or at a park, once we start laughing, all bets are off!
