This is where I love to sit, under my happy cat quilt my Mom made me, reading in the natural light of our big window, with the cat on my lap and a cup of tea on the table beside me. If I'm at home, you can usually find me in this spot or at the computer. (OK, lately, more at the computer.)
This photo was taken today for the online class "Picture Fall" through Big Picture Classes. It's a photography prompt every day for the month of October, to celebrate the change of season and get you out and photographing. I've realized lately that, while I am loving the travel photography, I'm not doing so much "every day" photography and I'm in a bit of a rut. So you'll see these images creep into the blog I'm sure, along with the normal photos of various places I visit. I'm taking this with my fellow muses and other online friends so it will be fun to have this virtual community all in class together.
(Oh, and thank you for all of the well wishes yesterday. I am feeling much better today! So nice to have all of these people out there hoping you feel better.)

ReplyDeleteI've decided to start taking photos too, I'm fed up with myself not making an effort to at least try so you might start seeing some photos on my blog and my flickr soon, but you mustn't laugh at me, I really am clueless but willing to finally have a go at it and see if i can learn something :)
Glad you are feeling better today. It looks very comfy & calm place. I too have 'where I sit' that is a kind of special to me, but lately this gets filled with more clutters of my course work, lots of jotting notes and references. I suppose the mess is also comfort for me? looking forward to seeing your more photos. xm

ReplyDeleteLovely to see you at Picture Fall. Today's prompt is a tough one for me as the house is in shambles! We are working on a "declutter the house" project - well, at least I am, the rest of the family is procrastinating! Argh!!!
Looks like a great place to recoup! I hear ya about the rut - am learning to go with the flow. Shoot like crazy, then just hang out. Doing Happy Dance today - got in Group#3 on Pioneer Woman's photo contest (kgmnana). Sometimes, it all just fits into place!
