Reflections of Venezia
Venice, and the islands of Murano and Burano, may be one of my all time favorite placees to photograph. There is so much history and texture and reflection in the place. Every where you turn, every change in light, there is a new image to capture. Even with all of the tourists, you can imagine it in its grand heyday. The tacky trinket stands can't cover up the inherent elegance of Venice. I like this image, because it captures a quiet calm and very simply gives you a sense of place.

This is beautiful, Kat. I've revived my PAD project too, and have several months of photos to post from before. I'd been putting them on a sidebar blog on my blog, but recently discovered Shuttercal.com. It is so easy to use, I'm thinking of switching over there. Here's a link to my calendar. It's so easy to load photos and I love the calendar format.

I wish I had such beautiful places to photograph! Once the leaves fall off, and the skies turn their winter gray, I find it hard to be motivated to take a daily photo. Thanks for the link to your blog. I bookmarked it.
