It seems like forever we've been waiting for the cruise, and now we are down to 41 days! We leave August 17th. It's getting down to the point where even Patrick is thinking about clothes for the cruise - I had mine all planned several months ago! (Which is kind of a bummer because it's always fun to shop and there are so many cute sundresses out there!)
Since we gave the early 90's plum double breasted suit to Goodwill a couple of years ago, Patrick was in need of some nice clothes for the semi-formal nights. A jacket is required at a minimum.
Yesterday Patrick decided was the day to shop. We had the best shopping day ever for Patrick at, of all places, Goodwill! We found a very nice sportcoat, 3 dress shirts, dress pants and a tie for <$40. OK, so my family is laughing right now because I am such a miser, but these are very nice clothes that fit him well, and we were both pretty excited.
Check one more thing off of the list...

Trying out this whole blogging thing
Hi everyone! I've been toying with the idea of creating a blog to record and share our upcoming cruise memories and pictures with friends and family as we go. What do you think? Are you interested in reading it or not? Leave a comment and let me know.
The whole "KatEye" name stems from Patrick wanting me to come up with a fictional name for a photography studio to put on his train layout. He likes his different model businesses to be tied to different parts of our lives. We both liked "KatEye Photography" and I created a logo for a building sign, so it was right there waiting for me as I created this today. :)
